Tania Yesilbahar Azaryad is an artist, curator, graphic designer, and producer, born in Istanbul in 1974 and currently living and working in Tel Aviv. She studied Visual Communication at the Avni Institute of Art and Design and graduated from Shenkar’s International Program in Design Curation in 2020.

Over the years, she has worked at advertising agencies in design and studio management roles, engaged in the fields of culture and art, and continued to pursue her personal artistic practice in drawing and painting. Her work often explores the female body, memory, identity, and the intersection of tradition and contemporary life. Through imagery of women, nature, and everyday objects, she examines themes of belonging, femininity, and renewal.

Tania is one of the co-founders of Writehaus, an English-language art and literary magazine that provides a platform for emerging artists and writers in Israel whose native language is not Hebrew. The magazine organized cultural events, poetry and literary readings, and art panels in various venues across Tel Aviv.

Since completing her studies in curation, she has worked on artistic projects and exhibitions, including What Does She Bring with Her, which she curated at Omer Tiroche Gallery as part of Illustration Week 2020. She has also participated in group exhibitions with Urban Sketchers Tel Aviv.
