Flora Femina
Blooming Through Change
About the series
This series of artworks was born from an exploration of the female body as a home, a space of warmth, care, memory, and belonging. Through the meeting of the female form, flowers, and plant life, I explore the connection between women, nature, and the cycles of life, and the way the body carries within it roots, wisdom, and renewal.
For me, the body is a living, breathing home, one that changes with time yet continues to bloom. Inspired by the transitions and changes women experience throughout their lives, these works seek to offer a different view of femininity and maturity, not as fading or loss, but as another stage of growth, depth, and beauty.
Like a garden changing through the seasons, the female body moves through blooming, shedding, and renewal. Through this, a connection emerges between the personal and the collective, between nature and culture, and between an identity shaped over time and a deep sense of belonging.
Flora Femina invites viewers to see change itself as a fertile space, a place where life continues to grow, expand, and bloom.
